Famed Iranian actress Mahnaz Afshar has finished shooting for Iran-Japan joint movie 'Noushin'.
A media report said with the shoot for the parts in which Afshar played a main role coming to an end, the actress is now back home from Japan.
The actress dressed in Japanese traditional garment the Kimono posed for a photo along with cast and crew on 'Noushin' before getting back to Iran.
The flick is being captured in Iran and Japan with a mix of artists from both countries on the cast list.
Shooting stage of the whole project will also wrap up soon in Japan.
Ayako Kobayashi who is super famous in Iran for her starring role in Japanese series ‘Oshin’ is among the flick cast.
The flick follows the story of a mother and her daughter who contact each other on a limited basis. The girl is looking for an answer to the mysterious secret of her father’s death. To unravel the mystery, she embarked on an adventure coming face to face with some truths.
In 1999, Afshar made her film debut with 'Friends'. She found nationwide fame after appearing in 'Passion of Love' (2000) and 'Coma' (2003).
She has acted in other movies, including 'Grey' (2000), 'Poisonous Honey' (2002), 'Girl in a Cage' (2002), 'Season Salad' (2004), 'Who Killed Amir?' (2005), 'Aquarium' (2005), 'Ceasefire' (2005), 'The Boss' (2006), 'Reflection' (2007), 'Invitation' (2008), 'Adam's Son, Eve's Daughter' (2009), 'A Simple Romance' (2011), 'No One, Nowhere' (2012), 'Metropol' (2013), 'Sperm Whale' (2015) and 'Sperm Whale: Roya's Selection' (2017).
